Ziv Agmon, spokesman for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, addressed the storm in the office surrounding Netanyahu's statement after Agmon's resignation, in which he accepted his apology and asked him to stay until finding a "worthy replacement." Agmon wrote: "I thank the Prime Minister for his words. Over the past week, I expressed on several occasions my regret over the publications as well as my decision to end my role, and these things remain true now. I would like to apologize again to anyone who was hurt."
