Jordan's King Abdullah welcomed the French recognition of a Palestinian state at the UN and said, "We meet here to raise our voices for peace and justice, and for the only way to ensure security in the Middle East and the world: the two-state solution. What is happening in Gaza represents a violation of international law and our shared human values and threatens the foundations for achieving future peace. The war in Gaza must end and humanitarian aid must flow unimpeded."
