Opposition members of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee have appealed to committee chairman MK Yuli Edelstein ahead of the revote on expanding reserve duty orders. The appeal stated: 'The Prime Minister has no control over the war objectives, and no operational plan for Operation Gideon's Chariots has been presented yet. We demand the urgent summoning of the Defense Minister to present current war objectives and their achievement status.' The letter continued: 'We request you to summon the IDF Chief of Staff to present operation plans before approving extensive reserve call-ups.'
