An unexploded projectile was located at one of the scenes in Rishon Lezion following the fire from Iran. The projectile is lodged in the road and police bomb disposal experts are working at the scene with technological equipment to remove it without it exploding, and subsequently to transfer it for dismantling or controlled detonation in a safe location. Residents of four nearby buildings were evacuated from their homes and asked to remain in the shelter where they are staying for fear the projectile will explode. The street was closed to pedestrian traffic.
