Argentine coach Diego Flores has signed with Maccabi Haifa and will lead the Greens for at least one season. Flores recently coached Gimnasia La Plata in Argentina's premier league and previously served as assistant to coach Marcelo Bielsa at Lazio, Lille and Leeds. Flores will replace Barak Bachar, who was dismissed near the end of last season, which the team finished only in third place. 'I am very, very happy. This is a big challenge for me and I am delighted to sign with such a big club and be part of the Maccabi Haifa Football Club family,' he said.
