Jewish, Muslim and Christian organizations are protesting together for the first time outside Gracie Mansion in Manhattan, the official residence of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani. The protest was organized by the Jewish Women's Movement alongside moderate organizations in the Muslim community amid growing tensions surrounding the mayor's positions, which include promoting legislation against Jewish organizations, publishing an official video commemorating the Nakba and refusing to participate in the annual Israel support parade. Anila Ali, president of the Muslim and Interfaith Women's Council, who is participating in the protest, said that 'with Mamdani in office, we feel our religion has been hijacked again and is being used by these Islamists.'
