The Weizmann Institute of Science reported that "following the barrage launched early morning, several hits were recorded in buildings on the Weizmann Institute of Science campus. There are no casualties." They further stated that "the Institute is in contact with relevant security and emergency authorities, and is taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of employees and the campus." The New York Times reported overnight that at least one building containing laboratories caught fire, based on images provided to the newspaper.
