The Health Ministry issued a public warning against using hair products found in nine branches of the 'Straightening Center' chain. During inspections, hair care products including shampoos and hair straighteners were found that are not registered in the Health Ministry's databases and are therefore prohibited from being marketed: PROTEIN + MINERAL PREMIUM HAIR STRAIGHTENING, as well as the product Protein mineral premium pre treatment shampoo. In addition, the hair straightening product HYDRO KERATIN PRO HAIR STRAIGHTENING GEL, which is not registered in the ministry's databases, was found to contain glyoxylic acid, which can lead to kidney failure. Formaldehyde, classified as a carcinogen and prohibited for use in cosmetics, was also found in the hair straightening products.
