The IDF Spokesperson reported that a short time ago, as part of an Air Force support operation for ground forces in southern Lebanon, a failed launch attempt of a small surface-to-air missile was made toward an aircraft. There is no damage and no casualties to our forces. In addition, the Air Force successfully intercepted an aerial target before it crossed into Israeli territory. No alerts were activated in accordance with policy.
