Sergeant Yanon Nuriel va'Ana, 20, from Kiryat Tivon, a technology and maintenance combat soldier in the Golani Reconnaissance Battalion, Golani Brigade, and Captain Amir Saad, 22, from Yanuah-Jat, a technology and maintenance officer in the Golani Reconnaissance Battalion, Golani Brigade, were killed in Khan Yunis by an explosive device attached to a Namer APC. This was cleared for publication by the IDF spokesperson. In the incident, a combat officer in the Golani Reconnaissance Battalion was moderately wounded. The officer was evacuated for medical treatment at a hospital and his family has been notified.
