Two weeks after he was extradited from the Netherlands, Shai Avital was charged on Monday with two counts of sexual misconduct including against a minor who says she was drugged by him.
Avital was accused by 24 other women of similar offenses but those were not included in the indictment.
The prosecution has asked that he be remanded for the duration of proceedings after he had left Israel and neglected to return until his eventual arrest by the Dutch police last year.
