Shin Bet agents arrived in Dubai and are participating in the interrogation of the Omani pilot-terrorist Al-Muamam al-Hamami, who attempted to hijack the Fly Dubai flight. The interrogation revealed that he intended to crash the plane into a U.S. base in Jordan if he failed to crash it at Ben Gurion Airport or elsewhere in Israel. Apart from Syria, he visited several other enemy states in recent years. Investigators are examining whether he was recruited by any organization, but the leading assessment is that he acted as a lone attacker. Australia and New Zealand are also investigating the time he spent in those countries about a decade ago.
