Iranian Foreign Ministry: Strikes on U.S. Base in Qatar - Self-Defense

|
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Bakaei claimed that "Iran's missile strikes against Al-Udeid base were carried out as part of self-defense according to the UN Charter and in response to U.S. military aggression against Iran's territorial integrity and national sovereignty." According to him, "This defensive action should in no way be considered as an action against Qatar. We are determined not to allow actions by the U.S. and the Zionist regime against Iran to cause incitement and division between us and our brothers in the region."
