Treasury Minister Zeev Elkin, who is responsible for rehabilitating communities in the Gaza envelope and the north, expressed support for establishing a state commission of inquiry. In an interview with ynet studio, he said: "I'm in the minority - I believe establishing a state commission of inquiry is the right thing to do. I don't think it's the most effective tool for reaching conclusions. I suggest the commission be established by the Supreme Court President and Deputy President Solberg to resolve issues of distrust."
