Former U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris said the Biden administration, in which she served, should have acted earlier and more forcefully to curb what she called "the appalling conduct of the Israeli government" in the war in Gaza. In a speech she delivered in Seoul, Harris claimed the U.S. did not use its influence over Israel to curb its actions, even though she said it had a moral duty to protect human rights and international law. She also attacked President Donald Trump, saying he is giving Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "a blank check."
