The Kan public broadcasting corporation said it will fight the court order to hand over to the police the raw materials from the interview with former Prime Minister's spokesperson Eli Feldstein. The corporation stated: "Demanding raw materials from journalists damages the foundation of investigative journalism - it harms journalistic confidentiality, damages journalistic sources and violates privacy. The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation has opposed this in the past and strongly opposes now the submission of raw materials of any kind and will take legal action, as other news organizations have fought against this demand in court in the past."
