A joint surprise drill of the IDF's Technology and Logistics Directorate and Home Front Command began at several locations across the country and will continue until noon. The IDF Spokesperson announced this, noting that the purpose of the drill is to test the level of multi-branch readiness and technological-logistical preparedness for a variety of surprising operational scenarios, examining the level of competence, readiness and preparedness of the Home Front Command, activation of alerts and reserves and decision-making processes and operational response at all levels, from the commands and regional divisions, branches and systems to the Chief of Staff. As part of the drill, active movement of security forces, military medical forces and vehicles will be noticeable across the country.
