Widow of Officer Killed in Gaza: 'He Said We Need to Bring Back the Hostages. We're Still Waiting for Answers'

|
Michal Rein, widow of Res. Maj. Arye Rein, who was killed, a reserve armor officer who fell during the ground operation in Gaza, said in an interview with ynet studio that "this day (October 7) is emotionally heavy. Arye went out and managed to return, but it was the day our lives changed. The distance of three years doesn't blur anything, there's only more longing. We're still waiting for answers and waiting to feel safe here. Many things haven't changed since then." About her husband, she said: "He said there were still missions. Before the last time he left the house, he said we need to bring back the hostages. When they all come back, I could feel relief. The mission he wanted to complete would be finished."
