Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to appoint the narrow cabinet ministers to a team that will oversee the implementation of the second phase of the ceasefire agreement with Hamas. The team will include Netanyahu and ministers Israel Katz, Gideon Saar, Yariv Levin, Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben Gvir. The decision was made in the political-security cabinet and passed after a heated argument centered on Energy Minister Eli Cohen, who was angry about not being included in the team and voted against it. Sources in the cabinet said the new team is expected to begin working in the coming days.
