Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich addressed the possibility of coalition collapse during his faction meeting, stating: "I call on all my coalition partners: put aside the disagreements. Show responsibility. History will not forgive those who dismantle the government and drag the country into elections in the midst of war - before the hostages return and before our objectives regarding Gaza and Iran are fully achieved." Smotrich also noted that he was unaware of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's decision to arm Palestinian militias in Gaza. "I am completely opposed to arming an enemy, regardless of which faction they belong to," he said.
