MK Tali Gotliv accused the Attorney General and government opponents of 'spreading lies' and claimed that their statements and those of senior justice system officials are leading to threats against elected officials. Gotliv spoke at a National Security Committee discussion addressing threats to public officials following the sending of suspicious envelopes. Gotliv accused: "We are under threats because they are smearing us based on lies. When Esther Hayut, Aharon Barak, Yitzhak Amit and the Attorney General say these things - don't be surprised that we receive threats, and these smear campaigns are intentional."
