Hundreds of fans stormed the gates of Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv before the State Cup final soccer match between Hapoel Be'er Sheva and Beitar Jerusalem, with some fans breaking through amid heavy crowding and congestion at the venue. Police reported that "masses of fans began storming the entrance gates, knocked down fences, threw objects at officers and trampled other fans in their path. Police forces contained the breach and are now removing crowds of rioters from the gate as they continue to rampage."
