Kassau family meets with Bennett and Lapid: 'We'll reach out to Shin Bet chief'

|
Members of the family of Haimanot Kassau, who was abducted 949 days ago and remains missing, met with Yachad party leader Naftali Bennett and opposition leader Yair Lapid, requesting their assistance and commitment in their struggle. Both pledged to reach out to Shin Bet chief David Zini on the matter. Bennett said during the meeting that 'I cannot imagine the hell. There has been negligence along the way, we will focus on all the tools and thoroughly investigate what can be done and what actions are required.' Lapid added: 'Finding Haimanot is a national moral imperative. A special task force should have been established back in February 2024. The government is not doing enough.'
