The prosecution filed an indictment with the Tel Aviv District Court against Mohammad Zeitounia, a 22-year-old city resident, for the murder of Mohammad Ahmed and injuring two other people about a month and a half ago. According to the indictment, Zeitounia decided to murder Ahmed and arranged to meet him in Tel Aviv. Ahmed arrived at the meeting location with two other people, where Zeitounia shot him to death and confirmed the killing, then opened fire at those who came with him to the scene. Zeitounia subsequently fled, changed his clothes and tried to cover his tracks.
