Israel's Ambassador to Cyprus, Oren Anolik, responded by calling on political leaders and the public in Cyprus "to reject inciting and divisive language," noting in a post on X that "it is our collective responsibility to foster an environment that welcomes all who choose to live and invest on the island, regardless of their nationality or background."
