President Isaac Herzog condemned the riots in the Palestinian village near Nablus and said that "the severe violence of rioters in the dead of night is an extremely serious act that must be dealt with to the full extent of the law. This is a moral stain, harm to the rule of law and to our most basic values as a people and as a state. Precisely during these days, in the midst of the Sukkot holiday, a holiday in which the tradition of settlement in the Land of Israel holds an important place - rioters come and harm the holiday, the settlement enterprise and the entire nation."
