IDF: We brought 70 aid trucks into Gaza - in accordance with political leadership directive

The Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories announced that in accordance with the political leadership's directive, about 70 humanitarian aid trucks from aid organizations and the UN, containing mainly food, were brought in yesterday through the Zikim crossing to northern Gaza Strip and through the Kerem Shalom crossing to the southern Gaza Strip. "All aid was transferred after rigorous security screening," it was reported. Meanwhile, it was claimed that the IDF coordinated with the UN and international organizations the collection of more than 150 trucks from the Palestinian side of the Kerem Shalom crossing as well as from the Zikim crossing: "Content of more than 800 trucks is still waiting to be collected."
