Saudi television channel "Al-Hadath" reported from Israeli sources that "the transition to the second phase of Trump's plan for the Gaza Strip is frozen due to disputes surrounding the multinational force and Hamas disarmament." The sources also addressed the issue of militants "stuck" in tunnels in Rafah, in territory controlled by the IDF. According to them, there is still disagreement about the fate of the militants, and therefore the IDF "is preparing for the possibility of a ceasefire collapse." In this context, the sources said that the army is working with Jared Kushner, advisor to President Donald Trump, on a plan in case fighting resumes - which will soon be presented to the cabinet.
