Family of Tamir Nimrodi: 'No Change in His Status, He is Defined as Alive by All Authorities'

|
The family of hostage Tamir sought to clarify that 'there is no change in Tamir's status,' after it was learned he is the Israeli hostage whose life is considered at risk. The family stated that 'Tamir was kidnapped to the Gaza Strip on October 7 while alive, and so far we have not received any information proving otherwise.' They explained that 'the definition that there is concern for Tamir's life is a description of an ongoing situation stemming from the lack of proof of life, and is not the result of receiving any new information. It should be emphasized that in the absence of other information - Tamir is still defined as alive according to all relevant official authorities. We plead in every possible way to avoid incorrect and inaccurate framing that could harm our Tamir.'
