Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara (Abu Mohammed al-Jolani) met with a Chinese delegation that arrived in Damascus, led by a senior Chinese Foreign Ministry official. Al-Jolani was the rebel leader of HTS organization, who led to the overthrow of dictator Bashar Assad last December.
