The Property Tax Compensation Fund has opened an online system for filing claims for loss of rental income due to direct damage caused during Operation "Iron Swords." Eligible for compensation are private apartment owners who were affected by the fighting and meet the following criteria: the apartment was rented on the day of the damage, or in the three months preceding it; due to war damage, the apartment could not be used for a period of at least one month and it was proven to the Compensation Fund that rent was not paid to the owners. Apartment owners who meet the conditions will be entitled to a monthly amount equal to the last rent paid for the property, for the rehabilitation period as defined by the Compensation Fund.
