Katz also criticizes Macron: 'IDF operates morally - certainly more than France in its wars'

|
Defense Minister Israel Katz responded to French President Emmanuel Macron's remarks yesterday criticizing Israel's policy in the Gaza Strip, stating 'We remember well what happened to Jews in France when they couldn't defend themselves. He shouldn't preach morality to us.' According to Katz, 'Someone who defines himself as a friend of Israel is expected to stand by its side in the war against the murderous Hamas terror organization and the Iranian axis of evil threatening to destroy Israel - instead of trying to prevent Israel's right to self-defense. The IDF operates with the highest moral standards - certainly more than anything France has done in its past wars.'
