Iran expert: 'Public will take to streets, unbearable prices will spark movement in coming weeks'

|
Beni Sabti, an Iran expert from the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS), said in an interview with Ynet studio that Iranian citizens "are ready to suffer and pay a heavy price, economically and in protests - even to die - so that the regime will be replaced once and for all." He claimed that the situation in Iran is more difficult today than it was before the protests that erupted prior to the war, and noted that "the regime is worried about this." He concluded: "The Iranian public will take to the streets again - and I believe the unbearable prices in Iran will spark a movement in the coming weeks."
