It has been cleared for publication that Staff Sgt. (res.) Ariel Lubliner (34) from Kiryat Bialik, a soldier in the 6036 Logistics Battalion, 36th Division, was killed in battle in the southern Gaza Strip. He is the 900th casualty since the beginning of the war. Lubliner was killed by gunfire, and the IDF is investigating whether he was hit by friendly fire.
