IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir met with released hostages Liri Albag, Romi Gonen, Omer Shem Tov and Sasha Trupanov. The Chief of Staff told the former hostages, "I wanted to hear directly from you about your feelings during the period when you were held captive while IDF forces operated near you. Your experiences were difficult, and you display remarkable strength and resilience worthy of recognition." He added: "The return and protection of the hostages remains constantly before our eyes - we will continue to act in every possible way to achieve the war's objectives - to bring back all hostages and defeat Hamas."
