Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara addressed the prevention of promotion of the assistant to the head of the Investigations and Intelligence Division, Chief Inspector Rinat Saban, one of the investigators who testified in Benjamin Netanyahu's trial, by National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, stating that "concerns have strengthened regarding improper political interference in the promotion of a police officer due to her testimony in the Prime Minister's case, intimidating witnesses and disrupting the integrity of the ongoing proceedings."
