Spain suspends billion-shekel deal with Rafael

|
The Spanish Defense Ministry has ordered the suspension of production licenses for Rafael's Spike LR2 anti-tank missiles - a move that cancels a significant contract worth 285 million euros (over 1 billion shekels) for supplying anti-tank systems to the Spanish Army and Marines. Sources in the Spanish Defense Ministry confirmed this according to Spanish media reports. The contract included the supply of 168 missile launchers, 1,680 Spike LR2 missiles and full logistical support, and according to reports, it has been suspended due to Israel's involvement in the fighting in Gaza Strip.
