Home Front Command tightens defense guidelines in the north: up to 200 people in open areas, 600 indoors

|
The IDF Spokesperson announced that the Home Front Command's defense policy in the north has been tightened from today until Monday, May 4 at 8:00 p.m. The confrontation line area and the communities of Meron, Bar Yochai, Or HaGanuz and Safsafa will transition to partial activity level. As part of the new defense guidelines, gatherings have been limited to up to 200 people in open areas and up to 600 people indoors. Additionally, workplaces and educational activities 'may be conducted in a building or in a place from which a standard protected space can be reached within the designated time.' A senior official in the Home Front Command explained that the tightening of the guidelines stems from the events of the past two days, in which Hezbollah fired rockets at the north twice.
