Israel Railways will expand its operations starting Sunday and operate about 450 trains per day, alongside about 27 night trains on main lines, including Jerusalem-Ben Gurion Airport and Haifa-Beersheba via Ben Gurion Airport. The service will stand at about 80% of routine capacity, with operations at 56 stations across the country. The move is expected to improve travel availability throughout all hours of the day, especially for essential workers and passengers requiring transportation at night, following a period of cutbacks due to the security situation.
