The Kfar Saba Magistrate's Court convicted Benjamin Shamil, from Moshav Batzra, of incitement to terrorism and incitement to violence against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Ministers Bezalel Smotrich and Yariv Levin, and Knesset member Simcha Rothman. Shamil pleaded guilty and was convicted as part of a plea bargain for publishing posts encouraging or calling for violent attacks against them. Among other things, he called Netanyahu "Ceaușescu" and compared him to Muammar Gaddafi and Saddam Hussein. About Levin, he wrote that he "should be hunted with a hunting rifle."
