A gas-powered vehicle was completely burned on Route 1, between Sha'ar HaGai and Shoresh. Following the fire, there is a gas leak from the vehicle and the lane on Route 1 toward Jerusalem is being closed and opened intermittently in accordance with the progress of firefighting operations. Fire and Rescue Services reported that drivers are asked to avoid coming to the area of the incident.
