Kish to Haredi parties and Edelstein: 'Those who topple the government during war - it will not be forgotten'

|
Education Minister Yoav Kish appealed to the ultra-Orthodox parties and Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Chairman Yuli Edelstein requesting flexibility on the conscription law. In a speech to the Knesset plenum, he said: "Unfortunately, there are extremists on both sides. There are extremists who don't want any Haredi to enlist and there are extremists here in this hall who just want this government to fall. I want to tell Yuli Edelstein - if we fail to pass the legislation, Haredim will not enlist in the IDF. On the other hand, I want to tell (the Haredim) - whoever brings down the government while our soldiers are fighting and prevents us from achieving victory - this will not be forgotten."
