Navy intercepts drones launched from Iran for first time using 'Barak Magen' defense system

During the night, the Navy's missile boat flotilla intercepted eight drones launched from Iran. This was reported by the IDF spokesperson, who added that for the first time, operational use was made of the "Barak Magen" air defense system and the long-range interceptor "LRAD". The interceptor, which is installed on the Sa'ar 6 missile ships, has the capability to deal with a wide range of threats including drones, cruise missiles, ballistic threats, shore-to-sea missiles and more.
