Eric Robic, who ran over and killed Lee Zeitouni in 2011 and fled to France, where he was tried and convicted, was shot dead on the streets of Neuilly-sur-Seine in France. According to a report in the French newspaper Le Parisien, Robic was shot to death by two scooter riders wearing helmets who fled the scene. In 2011, Robic fled the country along with Claude Khayat after the two were involved in the hit-and-run accident in which Zeitouni was killed. A Paris court convicted them, and Robic, who was driving the BMW, was sentenced to five years in prison.
