IDF Voting Turnout as of 5 p.m. Reaches 68%; Reports of Unusual Delays at Jalama Base

|
Voting turnout in the IDF for the 26th Knesset as of 5 p.m. stands at 68%. This compares to 65% at the same time in the previous elections. Meanwhile, soldiers at Jalama Base south of Afula reported unusual delays in voting, resulting in soldiers waiting more than two hours to cast their ballots. Following this, an additional polling station was set up at the base. According to the IDF, similar cases are not known at other bases, however Ynet learned of a wait of about an hour and a half for service members at another base in central Israel. Across IDF bases, more than 850 stationary polling stations were set up, in addition to mobile polling stations that reached some outposts and soldiers in the field.
