Shas chairman Aryeh Deri met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the Knesset in an attempt to reach agreements on the conscription exemption law and avoid dissolving the Knesset. Meanwhile, Deputy Minister Uri Maklev from United Torah Judaism met with additional lawmakers from the ultra-Orthodox parties, including Yinon Azoulay, Moshe Gafni and Yaakov Asher, as well as former minister Ariel Atias, Shas' representative in the conscription law negotiations.
