The General Staff is launching the 'Hoshen' five-year plan, which will conclude in 2030. The IDF has been instructed to prepare for a 350 billion shekel buildup over the next decade as a possible alternative to U.S. aid, more than two years after October 7 and amid the possibility of Knesset dissolution and budget non-passage.
