Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said after the attack in Judea that "I have just finished a situation assessment with the Defense Minister, the Chief of Staff, the head of the Shin Bet, the head of the Military Intelligence Directorate and the commander of Central Command. I commend our heroic fighters who acted decisively and prevented a major attack and wish a speedy recovery to our wounded. I have instructed the IDF and security forces to impose an immediate closure on the city of Hebron and to prepare for a full lockdown on all of Judea and Samaria starting today. Our forces are operating with increased strength to thwart terrorism and are carrying out waves of widespread arrests. We will pursue Hamas terrorists and their dispatchers everywhere and at all times. You have no hiding place."
