Palestinians reported that "the Israeli Air Force struck the 'Taiba 2' tower in western Gaza City after it received an evacuation warning." At the same time, leaflets were dropped in the al-Nasr neighborhood of the city stating: "The IDF will take control of your area to expel the criminal Hamas gang that shows no mercy to any of you. Hamas has rejected all attempts to reach an agreement that would serve you, and it insists on adhering to its narrow interests. Therefore, because of Hamas, the IDF needs to take control of your area."
