Palestinians published footage of soldiers in Jenin firing at close range at militants who exited a building where they had been barricaded for hours. The footage cuts between what appears to be the militants surrendering and soldiers firing at them. A joint statement from IDF and police spokespersons said, "Forces were operating to arrest wanted suspects from the terrorist organization in Jenin who, among other things, threw explosives and fired at security forces. After engineering equipment was used on the building where they were barricaded, the two wanted individuals came out. After they exited the building, shots were fired at them. The incident is being investigated by commanders in the field and will be forwarded for review by the appropriate authorities."
